Born in Hull 1959.
1981 Graduated from WSCAD 1982, 3d Design 1st class Honors.
1982 Worked as glassmakers assistant at the Glasshouse, met Ronny
Wilkinson the glass maker who was to become so influential.
1986 Establish Glassworks London Ltd with Catherine Hough and Steven
Newell.
1987 Part time tutor at the Royal College of Art.
1989 Resigned from Glassworks to establish Simon Moore (London) Ltd, in
Clapham London.
1997 Made Visiting Professor at the Royal College of Art. Exhibited twice
a year at the New York International Gift Fair.
1999 Creative Director and Factory Director for Salviati in Murano Venice.
2001 Returned to the UK to become Design Director Dartington Crystal.
2004 Established Simon Moore Ltd, A creative practice in Ceramics and
Glass. In Bideford North Devon.
2005 Returned as part time tutor at the Royal College of Art.
2006 Developed Consultancy work for Bombay Sapphire, and Nina Campbell.
2007 Designed and manufactured an exclusive range of Dinnerware for Nicole
Farhi. Started Exhibiting at Maison Objet Paris.
2008 Designed and manufactured an exclusive dinnerware range for HRH The
Queen of Jordan.
2009 Designed and manufactured a range of glassware for Highgrove, Tetbury.
2010 Closed the workshop in Devon and returned to London working a new
collections to be presented in 2011.
